Book an Appointment
NEW CLIENTS: Welcome! We are currently scheduling new client assessments in about 2-4 weeks, however, not all therapists are currently accepting new clients. Please inquire with Erin (eluong@creativeot.com) to see which OT will be best suited for your goals. Please note we have extremely limited after school availability at this time. Assessments are not available to be booked online to ensure you’re matched with an OT who is accepting clients and will be a good fit for your goals.
Our initial assessment is a 2-step process, which includes a virtual session with just the parent(s), and then an in-person session with the parent(s) and child in our clinic. The virtual session is 30mins, and the in person is an hour in length. Following the two sessions, the OT will provide a summary of the assessment with the plan for going forward and any recommendations for home/school as appropriate. This is a fee of $260.
CURRENT CLIENTS: Please ensure you are scheduling follow up sessions with the Occupational Therapist that completed your initial assessment. If you wish to change providers for any reason, please contact Erin (eluong@creativeot.com) or speak with your current OT prior to scheduling sessions with another OT.
RETURNING CLIENTS: If is has been more than 6 months since your last session, please contact Erin (eluong@creativeot.com) prior to scheduling sessions, as a re-assessment or parent virtual consult session may be required and is at the discretion of the OT.

Welcome to Creative Therapy!
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists, often called OTs, are the primary providers of occupational therapy services. OTs are:
- university educated professionals that apply their specialized knowledge and skills to recommend a course of preventive or corrective action that will help people lead more productive and satisfying lives,
- trained to understand not only the medical and physical limitations of a disability or injury, but also the psychosocial factors that affect the functioning of the whole person – their health and their wellness, and
- a regulated medical profession; occupational therapists must be registered with their provincial regulator in order to practice legally in Canada.
Occupational Therapist Assistant
Occupational Therapist Assistants are an integral part of the treatment team. They work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to carry out specific treatment activities that have been defined by the OT.
